The director disclosed that Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal is inspired by a number of instances that people may have witnessed in their life rather than being based on any particular event. I have created each character in this movie in great detail, and they are all relatable. Although I admire realistic movies, I wanted to use commercial elements in my directorial to make it more appealing to viewers, he said.

"I wanted to make a movie that people could enjoy and have a light-hearted experience in theatres," Vipin continued. For this reason, I have included enough dramatic scenes in the movie. He said, for instance, that the slow motion shot of Siju Wilson's character visiting Anaswara Rajan's Anjali in her house following the death of her grandmother.

He also expressed his wish to work on low-budget projects that would undoubtedly amuse viewers. "I like to work on comedy scripts and cast newbies," he stated.
