Republicans complain about debt on Monday, and then vote to borrow money on Tuesday. The middle class will pay for this reckless spending. Can’t make this stuff up.

Under expiring tax law, we have lower tax rates, wider brackets, bigger child credits, higher standard deductions, larger inheritance and gift tax. If that bill is not renewed, those items will roll back to old, higher rates. How is this not a tax increase for you and me, not the rich? Then we have SALT allowing the rich to exclude most state, local taxes as a deduction.
