Man charged with six counts of insurance fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a Richland County man with insurance fraud.

Christopher Gadson, 34, is charged with six counts of fraudulent insurance application by agent on Monday.

SLED was requested to investigate by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.

According to arrest warrants, Gadson is accused of presenting a life insurance application with misleading information with intent to defraud the company six times.

He was booked in the Lexington County Detention Center and the case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
