This article is no longer active and it has been archived. Last updated September 7, 2022

Below, you'll find a roundup of entry requirements and restrictions for visiting Caribbean islands and Mexico, with information broken down by location.

As of June 12, travelers entering the United States by air are no longer required by the CDC to present negative Covid test results or proof of recovery from the virus.

International travelers who are not U.S. citizens are still required to provide proof of vaccination, however.

Note that cruise lines voluntarily follow their own set of protocols and may require passengers to submit negative test results before boarding.

Anguilla

As of June 1, visitors no longer have to apply online for entry permission. However, each traveler must continue to show proof of full vaccination as well as negative results from a PCR test no older than three days or a rapid antigen test no older than two days. Flyers must present these documents before boarding aircraft and upon arrival in Anguilla.

Results from self-administered home testing kits, including video-proctored tests, are not accepted. Anguilla defines "fully vaccinated" as having received the last dose in the primary series of shots more than 14 days prior to the arrival date.

Testing upon arrival to the island has been discontinued, except for visitors who show up without results from an accepted test.

Antigua and Barbuda

All arriving passengers must show proof of full vaccination. Negative test results are no longer required from those travelers. Kids ages 18 and younger are excused from the vaccine requirement, but kids ages 5 to 17 must have negative PCR or antigen test results no older than four days.

Aruba

Aruba has lifted all Covid-19 travel restrictions for international visitors. Neither proof of vaccination nor negative Covid-19 test results are required to enter the country. However, all travelers must still complete Aruba's online Embarkation/Disembarkation Card process and purchase Aruba Visitors Insurance at a cost of $15 per visitor age 15 or older.

On the island, nearly all Covid restrictions have been dropped as well. Masks are still mandatory at the airport and recommended in spaces where social distancing is difficult.
