Ryanair is offering Brits the chance to snap up cheap autumn breaks with a huge new sale.

The budget carrier has slashed prices on over 750,000 seats by up to 50% off, for travel dates throughout September and October.

When we took a look, there were heaps of flights available for less than £20 each way (not include extra fees such as cabin bag fares).

The good news is that the sale has destinations where the FCDO currently doesn't advise against travel.

For example, you can find deals to heaps of Italian hotspots, with fares under £20 to the likes of Milan, Pisa, Genoa, Turin, Venice and Verona.

Germany and Poland are also in the deals, with cheap flights to the likes of Berlin and Krakow.

As for Portugal, there are deals to Faro under £20 - but if you live in Wales or Scotland, it's worth noting you will need to self-isolate for 14 days when you return.

The deals are already live on the Ryanair website but you'll need to book by midnight on Wednesday 9th September to bag a bargain - and it's worth noting that the offers are subject to limited availability.

There is quite an impressive choice of UK airports too - when we took a look there were deals from Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Derry, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Glasgow Prestwick, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Southend, London Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle and Newquay.

It's worth noting that the sale also includes flights to destinations where the FCDO currently advises Brits against all but essential travel - such as France and Spain - so if you book, and the advice hasn't changed by the time your trip arrives, your insurance will be invalid and you may not be able to get a refund if Ryanair doesn't cancel the flight.

  • During the coronavirus pandemic, countries may be subject to a change in travel restrictions. Always check the latest FCDO advice for your chosen destination before planning, booking, or going on a trip.
