Liberal political commentator Hasan Piker has ripped into Rep. Dan Crenshaw, saying the eye-patch wearing Congressman lost his eye to a 'brave' terrorist.

Piker, who is a contributor on the liberal Young Turks network, dug into the Republican Texas Congressman during a Twitch livestream on Tuesday.

Piker unleashed a heated rant against Crenshaw for his comments on foreign policy where he talked about the U.S.' military efforts in the Middle East.

The liberal commentator slammed the Republican saying: 'This guy has the understanding of foreign policy of like a 12-year-old.

'What the f**k is wrong with this dude? Didn't he go to war and literally lose his eye because some Mujahideen - a brave f*****g solider -  f****d his eyehole with their d**k?'

'Isn't that how he f***ing lost his dumba** eye, because he got his f***ing eye hole f***ed, by a brave soldier?

Crenshaw, a Navy SEAL veteran, lost his eye in an IED explosion while serving in Afghanistan.

In the clip Piker also said that America deserved the 9/11 terror attacks. His rant was met with furious backlash online and led Crenshaw to defend himself.

Crenshaw hit back on Twitter late Wednesday saying, '@hasanthehun seems to confuse “Improvised Explosive Device” with some weird terrorist fantasy.'

'Lol sorry for triggering you Hasan. You’re no @petedavidson, stop trying so hard,' he added.

After Crenshaw was elected in 2018, he was mocked by Davidson on Saturday Night Live, suggesting he looked like a 'hit man in a porno movie'.

When Piker faced backlash for his foul-mouthed comments about Crenshaw's eye he defended himself saying: 'I don't think anyone deserves extra respect when they advocate for senseless wars'

Piker then clarified that the 'brave Mujaheddin' joke was a reference to Ronald Reagan supporting and praising Mujaheddin, the guerrilla fighters in Islamic countries fighting non-Muslim forces, during his presidency

Still, Piker continued his attack on Crenshaw on Twitter saying, 'I don't think anyone deserves extra respect when they advocate for senseless wars that send thousands of our young men and women overseas for the profits of the military industrial complex. would love for you to change my mind on this.'

But he did offer a soft apology for his stern language and clarified he didn't support 9/11.

'Obv i don’t support terrorism, after all i’m criticizing the american govt for supporting terrorism both leading up to, and post 911. i realize i used imprecise language that easily got weaponized by the right but spare me your moral grandstanding,' he tweeted.

'As far the "brave mujaheddin" joke goes, it was a direct reference to Reagan arming & commending the mujaheddin, you know, since we considered them our allies when we armed them. how many identical foreign policy "blunders" will it take for us to stop repeating the same mistakes?' Piker said.

Crenshaw then responded to an old tweet Piker sent accusing Crenshaw of 'crying' over a joke he made about him over a year ago, where he said 'right wing victimhood is a brain disease'.

The Congressman hit back Thursday saying: 'The only thing that offends me is your inability to use capital letters in any of your tweets.'

'But really it is the fact that Google/YouTube profit from and promote The Young Turks and by extension your disgusting defense of the 9/11 terrorist attacks against Americans.'
