Railways to organise air tours of Goa, Bhutan

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has planned outbound and domestic air package tours during April and May this year.

The Bhutan tour called ‘The Land of Happiness’ is planned for 15 tourists from April 25 to May 17 for six nights and seven days. This includes sightseeing of Thimphu, Punakha and Paro.

The package costs Rs 43,750 per person and it includes air ticket by economy class airline (Bengaluru- Kolkata- Bengaluru and Kolkata- Paro- Kolkata), accommodation at Kolkata, Thimphu, Punakha and Paro; food, road journey by air-conditioned vehicles; sight-seeing tours with entry fee and guides and travel insurance.

IRCTC is also offering an air package tour of three nights and four days to Goa from April 8 to 19. The package costs Rs 16,396 per person and it includes to-and-fro air ticket, accommodation, food, guided sightseeing tour of north and south Goa in AC vehicles.

Another tour to Shirdi has been arranged for two days and three nights from April 8, costing Rs 11,478 per person. This includes to-and-fro air ticket, two nights’ stay at Shirdi with food and temple tours of Shirdi Saibaba, Shani Shingnapur, Trimbakeshwar and Panchvati.

A package air tour to Delhi-Mussorie, Dehradun- Rishikesh- Haridwar of five nights and six days between May 11 and 26, costing Rs 29,373, has also been arranged.
