BAF Financial and Insurance Ltd. announced its largest Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) cohort to date, with 25 of its employees qualified to enter the exclusive club for 2023.

The website for the MDRT describes it as the top association for financial professionals.

It adds that the global, independent group represents the leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 700 companies across 80 countries and territories.

“MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service,” the website says.

“MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.”

BAF Senior Vice President of Sales Dashwell Flowers told Guardian Business that this is the largest group in The Bahamas to have made it to the MDRT in a calendar year. He expressed pride that these BAF professionals were all able to qualify for 2023.

The MDRT website said it was founded in 1927 by 32 insurance producers who had each placed at least $1 million “of life insurance protection into their communities”.
